I did this mainly to explore the possibility of app store as it's very alluring to do a game for it, even tho the biggest problem for this platform that I see is the lack of any physical buttons for controls as the type of game I'd like to do really wants buttons instead of a touchscreen. Anyway, the phone is nice and very accessible with very impresive display. It took a few days to get used to it and learnt how to control it as this is my first apple piece of hardware ever.
Congrats. I'm prefer Android personally though
ReplyDeletei cant believe there are already 4 of those things, aren't they all the same.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, its a great piece of equipment!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your purchase =p Well...eh, not much of a Mac fan but at least it'll help you learn to develop apps which is a vastly growing market nowadays.
ReplyDeleteMeh, I'm a pretty hard-core Mac user myself, but I'd say go with a HTC instead of an iPhone when you get the choice.
ReplyDeletelets start the party :)
ReplyDeleteiphone4 is by far the most advanced smart phone on the market
I'm looking forward to the iOS 5 update. Iphones are nice and all, what bothers me though is the fact that Apple has to approve every app you want to sell.
ReplyDeleteYour in a club now :P
ReplyDeletejust bought one on saturday

Well, were you disappointed, or could you recommend it to others thinking about buying smartphone (like me) ?
ReplyDelete@Jörssender based on a month usage, yes it's really great piece of hw but more importantly there is a lot of software for about anything you need, really great phone, simple to use yet lot of potencial.. and that being said I'm not really an apple fan, never ever had any apple product before but like iphone more and more!
ReplyDeletefew things thats not so good:
- battery really don't last much longer than a day or so
- it really miss a few buttons for games as not all games are great with just touchscreen
even tried to jailbreak it and install cydia but was more dissapointed by that than what I expected.. I kinda expected to see a lot of ads everywhere, but to see that people actually selling their apps in there with all those advertisments all around and the price usualy is higher than in app store was a lot of dissapointment.
just imagine some guy wants $9.99 for a cydia app that allow you to sync your phone without cable (over wifi) ..sounds really ridiculous to me, heh
I want to buy it too :)congratulations!

Is a good piece of hardware. You will just be a little closed ecosystem, but is well done and has a vast number of good apps.
